She always seems to know when someone needs a little TLC and is there to make sure you leave with a smile. Bonnie is a girly girl and loves to be petted and pampered. But, she is also very fast, athletic, and absolutely loves to bark at and chase squirrels, rabbits or anything else that she sees as a potential playmate.

Pearl's full AKC name also describes her perfectly. She carries herself with dignity whether she's just lying down or sitting. Her nose is always raised just a little higher than others as to indicate she knows she's a Princess. Pearl is very smart and intuitive. She was not evaluated as a puppy, but we believe she could have easily qualified as a service dog candidate. She always seems to know your next move and is able to communicate her thoughts very clearly. She is definitely Miss Personality Plus!

Our Dam, Bonnie, and her Sire, Zeke, both have the most desirable appearance traits of English or Light Golden retrievers such as; striking light cream color, majestic tails, powerful builds, short snouts, big, blocky heads and soft, thick coats. They both also have wonderful all-around temperaments. So with both dogs having just about everything you could want in a Golden, not to mention their strong Championship bloodlines, we thought these two would have exceptional offspring.

"Thor"
International Champion, Golden Magic of the Shenandoah, "Thor", also checks all the boxes for those Pretty Boy Golden traits. We had been looking for that perfect match for our girl Pearl for a while, so when we met Thor, I'm not sure who was happier to see the other; us or Thor.
Thor's call name is certainly fitting for this BIG Boy. But, despite of his size, Thor is very gentle and super sweet. On that day we met, his demeanor combined with his soft friendly eyes just said, "I want to hug you," and we are now new best friends! Dogs like Thor are exactly why we absolutely love this breed and would like to take them all home, but we know we can't. But, in a way, we did!
