First, thank you for trusting Indy's Goldens to be the provider of your future adopted puppy. If you're still not sure, please take your time to become more familiar with the information provided here on our website and then look around some more. We know what's being offered out there and are confident you'll be back if you're comparing apples to apples and are honest with yourself. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. 

We know you're making a big commitment. We believe your new puppy is not only a pet, but will be part of your family (ours certainly are). 

As soon as your Information Form is reviewed, (usually within 24 hours) a non-refundable deposit of $300 is required (but only after your information is approved). Because the puppies are already here, your non-refundable deposit not only guarantees your selection spot on the waiting list, but also guarantees you an Indy's Goldens puppy. Your non-refundable deposit will also lock your puppy into our current rate posted at the time of your deposit in the event we should have to change our prices. The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the overall purchase price of your puppy. The remaining balance will be required before your puppy leaves our home. If you decide not to purchase a puppy from Indy's Goldens, you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit and be removed from our list. Remember, you will not secure the next available spot in line until we receive your non-refundable deposit. We limit reservation list openings to the actual number of puppies that have been whelped and are available, or an estimate when one of our females has a confirmed pregnancy. We start accepting Buyer Information Forms and deposits just as soon as one of our females has a confirmed pregnancy.  

*NOTE: For upcoming/planned litters. We will take your name and contact information and contact you when the next litter is confirmed so you have an advantage of getting that early pick!

For upcoming litters, please understand that the number of puppies in each litter is nothing more than an educated guess. An ultrasound of the mothers abdomen near the end of the pregnancy cycle can be done for a guesstimate, but the number of healthy born puppies will still be nothing more than a guess. Let's not even get into complicated guess work of how many male and female puppies will be in each litter. 

While we do our best to hedge the number of deposits we will accept for puppies from a pregnant female and get you a puppy from our next available litter, it may be possible that there just aren't enough to go around. If that were to occur, you would have the option of being moved to the next available litter or we will refund your deposit. Depending on our dogs and our life situation at any given time, additional options may be available. So do not hesitate to ask, we try to think ahead and be flexible.

Currently, we have 2 litters that are 4 days apart. We had a total of 15 puppies. There are only 8 puppies left.  

So what we are doing (from a selection standpoint) is handling the remaining 8 selections for puppies as 1 litter. 

At this point, when your non-refundable deposit is received, we will notify you of your selection order number and you will be given a contract to complete (you may review a contract any time, just ask). When you initially complete the contract you will be able to "pencil in" your preferred puppy selection indicated by litter name and collar color, but if someone with an earlier selection option than you picks your preferred puppy, you must then make a different selection. Your final choice will be clearly indicated on the contract. No puppy visitations will be allowed prior to 6 weeks of age. 

We will do our best to keep photos updated and individual photos clearly labeled so you can keep up with their progress online. If you live far away or cannot travel for whatever reason, please contact us and we will try to upload videos and possibly an evaluation video of the puppy you are interested in purchasing. Puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks. The contract is just a formal procedure to protect both you and me. It also contains important health guarantee language.

NOTE: We do not ship our puppies in the belly of a plane like they're a piece of luggage. Puppies can be picked up at our home or a meeting place agreed to ahead of time. We might even possibly meet you near DFW or Love Field airport  (both in the DFW Metroplex) if you plan to fly with the puppy in cabin. We are from the DFW area and might have to arrange a day to visit our Granddaughter (and kids). We are available for both weekday and weekend pickup. Delivery may be arranged for an additional fee. Remember, puppies are all ready to go to their furever homes at the same time so we will have others picking up their puppy at the same time. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but please be patient.

I understand once my application is approved, I am required to submit a $300 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy from Indy's Goldens. I understand that LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION is $3,000 and FULL AKC REGISTRATION is $4,000. I also understand that when my non-refundable deposit is received, I will be required to sign a mutual contract with Indy's Goldens. This contract will cover the health guarantee, as well as other things. I can request to review the contract at any time.
